An X (Twitter) User shared a map with crowded coffee shop pins along with the text in the image saying "Guys, when you visit Chiang Mai, don't worry about finding coffee shops!" This post has been shared over 44,000 times and viewed over 3.6 million times.
The picture was also shared in a Chinese context, with the caption translated as "Coffee shop pins in Chiang Mai, Thailand.”
Fact-Check
We conducted a fact-check using the Reverse Image Search feature and determined that the image in question is sourced from the Facebook group "Chiang Mai - Expats & Locals Living in Chiang Mai." The poster has explicitly stated in the post that it is not an actual map image.
In addition, we have contacted the Socialer Coliving & Coworking Space page, from which the picture originated. The page has confirmed to the Fact Crescendo team that they are the ones who created this image.
