Recently, we encountered a video circulating on social media that claims to show Israeli soldiers raising the Israeli national flag above the Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

Upon investigation, we found a tweet by Arthur Carpentier, a French journalist, who stated that the location in the video is not Al-Shifa Hospital but Gaza Preliminary School for Boys in Gaza, which is approximately 400 meters from the mentioned hospital.

Carpentier has compared the school's location from satellite images in Google Maps with the elements in the video, as shown in the image below.

The information mentioned has been verified by the GeoConfirmed account, the official account of Geoconfirmed, an organization specializing in verifying the location of images and videos on the internet.

In addition, the BBC has reported on the situation inside Al-Shifa Hospital after being invited by the IDF unit to inspect the hospital following the IDF's raid. The IDF unit informed the BBC that they believe Hamas had been using the hospital as a base, based on various evidence found, and that Hamas may have withdrawn their forces along with some hostages.

Therefore, the claim that the video was filmed at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza is misleading. In fact, the video was filmed at a school located approximately 400 meters away from the hospital.
