False stories and distorted information tend to spread quickly, leading to misunderstandings. Recently, a video claiming to feature Bella Hadid, a world-famous supermodel of Palestinian-Dutch descent, expressing support for the people of Israel circulated on social media. Additionally, images of her wearing a dress with the flag of Israel were also shared on social media.

On October 29th, a Twitter (X) user posted a video featuring Bella Hadid's face with the caption "Bella Hadid stands with Israel."
In the video, she apologized for her past stance and now expresses support for Israel.
The video has been viewed over 10 million times and has also been shared on Facebook.
Additionally, we also discovered a picture on Facebook of Bella Hadid wearing a dress adorned with the pattern of the Israeli flag.
However, we found that both the above video clip and images have been edited.
Fact-Check
Video of Bella Hadid supporting Israel: Upon analyzing the keyframes extracted from the aforementioned video, we discovered that the original video had been posted on YouTube in 2016. In the video, Bella expresses her gratitude while accepting the Global Lyme Alliance Awards in 2016. However, the edited version of the video utilizes Deepfake technology, manipulating her voice and appearance to create a deceptive depiction.
